One person has died after a seroius crash in which a car went down a bank near Palmerston North.
The car went down a bank between Gillespies Line and Rongotea Road shortly before 5.10pm, police said.
Kairanga Bunnythorpe Road was closed but has now reopened.
Police said the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
