Ten of the confirmed cases are aged 30-39, 13 aged 40-49, 19 aged 50-59, nine aged 60-69 and four aged 70 and over.

Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield said yesterday about 50 percent of the current cases were Pasifika, but the data reveals 104 of the 148 cases are Pasifika - or 70 percent.

Twenty-eight are European or other, 13 Asian and one Māori. Two ethnicities were listed as unknown.

When it comes to sex, the cases are split down the middle - with 74 female, 73 male and one unknown.
