Recap: Covid-19 updates for Day 5 at alert level 2 for Wellington region

Cabinet has decided Wellington's alert level 2 will continue for another 48 hours.

The rest of the country remains in alert level 1.

The alert level was raised to level 2 after a Sydney man travelled to Wellington last weekend visiting tourist attractions, bars and restaurants before testing positive for highly contagious Delta variant of Covid-19 when he returned home.
