An investigation has been done into how two soldiers were burned during a training exercise - but the Defence Force will not release it yet.

One soldier was seriously hurt and the other moderately burned at Linton military camp last August.

Defence gave few details at the time, and set up a Court of Inquiry, which is now finished.

"The incident is still subject to further investigations and as a result we are unable to confirm the outcome of the Court of Inquiry or release the report until those investigations are complete," a spokesperson said.

This is in addition to other investigations still going on, such as into a soldier's death two years ago after an SAS training exercise.
