A 31-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Eastern Bay of Plenty early this morning.
Police say an investigation is underway into the incident in the rural valley of Waiōhau, near Whakatāne, at 2am this morning.
Police are following leads and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
