A vessel has docked at Napier Port after its crew completed 14 days in isolation.
The 21 crew of the Ken Rei were close contacts of an engineer who tested positive after spending time on the logging ship when it was berthed in New Plymouth.
The vessel had been off the Napier coast for a fortnight and the crew have tested negative.
A team of doctors ok a helicopter to the ship to do Covid swab tests
The Maritime Union has renewed calls for crew of foreign vessels to be tested for the virus before they dock at ports in New Zealand.
The crew's agent had previously confirmed there were enough supplies for all onboard.
The Napier Port says the logging ship berthed at 6am today and is expected to depart on Thursday.
