Drivers heading north from Wellington should expect delays on State Highway 1 due to a truck and trailer crash.

The Transport Agency said a truck and trailer rolled just after 3pm, at the on-ramp at Newlands.
A heavy haulage tow was en route to remove the trailer, but it was still blocking the left northbound lane and the Newlands on-ramp.
The Transport Agency said vehicles were backed up to the Urban Motorway and along Hutt Road.
