A person is in a stable condition after a stabbing outside a house in the Auckland suburb of Mt Wellington.
Police say the incident happened at a Penrose Rd address shortly after 8am today and they're looking for the offender.
They say it appeared to be an isolated incident.
The scene is being examined.
