One person was seriously injured and another received minor injuries after a car plunged eight metres down a bank in the Waitakeres early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the accident just after 1.30am to South Titirangi Road, south of Auckland.
Northern Fire Service shift manager Paul Radden says one person was trapped in the vehicle after it left the road and fell onto a driveway several metres below.
Meanwhile, emergency services are currently attending a serious crash on Ohiro Road in Wellington.
Two people have been taken to Wellington Hospital in a critical condition following the single-vehicle crash and the road is currently closed.
