Police in Bay of Plenty want to hear from a person in a red truck who stopped to help, when two motorbikes crashed south of Whakatāne on Friday.
Scott Joseph Sinclair, 23, died in the incident on Bell Road, at Nukuhou.
He was the second fatality involving a motorcycle crash over the weekend.
The other death was at Ngongotaha in Rotorua yesterday morning.
