Motorists are being asked to avoid a section of State Highway 2 in the Bay of Plenty following a serious crash.
Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Thompsons Track near Aongatete and one person has been taken to hospital with serious injuires. One other person has minor injuries.
The road is currently blocked.
Meanwhile, cordons are are in place on Ruakura Road in East Hamilton after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a truck.
