Northland police are searching for David Mane, who is wanted after a man was seriously injured in a firearms incident in Moerewa yesterday.

One person was hospitalised with serious injuries, following the incident on Wynyard Street in Moerewa.
Mane, 19, is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
"We know Mane is being assisted by local associates who we also believe to be in possession of weapons," Far North Area Commander Inspector Riki Whiu said in a statement.
Whiu said senseless acts of violence are putting people and the community at risk.
