As it happened: Covid-19 updates in NZ and around the world on 8 April

New Zealand has now notched up two weeks under lockdown, but there continues to be a relentless flow of new developments.

The number of confirmed and probable Covid-19 cases has decreased again, with 26 confirmed and 24 probable cases in the past 24 hours.

New Zealanders have also been warned about flouting lockdown rules, and an education strategy has been unveiled.
