Multiple injuries are being reported in a crash between a truck and car at Rotoma in Bay of Plenty.

It happened on State Highway 30 after 5pm.
The road was closed and motorists travelling south to Rotorua were advised to take the Tauranga route.
They were advised to avoid the area if possible.
