Witnesses to a crash on Napier's Marine Parade this morning that killed a cyclist are being asked to contact the police.
The cyclist was rushed to hospital with critical injuries after being struck just after 11am.
The northbound side of Marine Parade was closed at the intersection with Ellison Street and northbound traffic was diverted down Ellison Street.
The road was closed for much of the day.
