A high-end sports car crashed in the Victoria Park Tunnel this afternoon, causing queues of traffic all the way to Ellerslie.

The crash occurred in the centre lane near the middle of the tunnel and traffic is crawling either side of the stricken vehicle.
The Transport Agency is advising people to expect significant delays and is urging motorists to drive with care.
Victoria Park Tunnel is the main route to travel north of Auckland, connecting with the Harbour Bridge and North Shore.
