A baby has died after an accident at SkyCity in central Auckland.
A SkyCity spokeperson said the baby was injured in an accident in its carpark about 5.30pm yesterday.
They said an ambulance was called but the baby died in hospital.
"This tragic accident occurred while the family were in the SkyCity carpark after returning from visiting the Sky Tower. Our hearts go out to the family."
The police said the incident was not a criminal matter and the death had been referred to the coroner.
