A 39-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Tauranga toddler who died of head injuries last month.

Seventeen-month-old Sadie-Leigh Gardner suffered the injuries on 27 March.
She was taken to Auckland's Starship Hospital, but died two days later.
The arrested man is due to appear in Tauranga District Court tomorrow charged with murder.
Police said they would like to thank the public for their assistance during the investigation, "which has been of great help to the investigation team".
