Police are searching for three people after a fire at an unoccupied house in Dunedin last night.
Emergency services were called to the house on Montpellier Street in Mornington about 10.15pm last night.
Police said the offenders escaped in a car before crashing into a parked taxi and running off.
One person was taken into custody, however police are still looking for three others.
Investigators are on their way to the house this morning.
