Dunedin police are looking for a cyclist who broke a three-year-old boy's leg after running into him yesterday.
The boy was playing in Marlow Park, also known as the dinosaur park, on John Wilson Ocean Drive.
He left the park with his aunt about 1.50pm and was standing on the footpath near the toilet block when the cyclist hit him and rode off.
The cyclist did not stop or provide his details.
The boy was left with a broken leg and bruising on his body and head.
The cyclist has been described as a caucasian man with a grey/white beard, with a slim build and aged between between 30 and 40 years old.
He was riding a red or orange mountain bike.
Police have asked for any witnesses to come forward to help identify the man.
