A man has died after his own vehicle rolled over him in a Hamilton parking lot.
Police were called to Tawa Street about 8.20am.
They said the 50-year-old was removing belongings from the boot when the vehicle began moving backwards.
When he tried to stop it, he tripped and fell beneath it.
He died at the scene.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
