An escaped remand prisoner has been found after he fled from Hutt Hospital on Monday.

Donald Keepa, 38, was attending an appointment at the hospital when he made a run for it, despite being escorted by two Corrections officers.
Police said Keepa was found at a house in Featherston last night.
He is now back behind bars at Rimutaka Prison and will be charged with escaping custody.
An investigation by Corrections is under way.
