The toddler who was injured in an incident at Auckland Airport yesterday is the son of an All Black.
The All Blacks have confirmed that it was Vaea Fifita's almost 2-year-old boy, Paula, who was hurt on a conveyer belt at the international terminal yesterday afternoon.
The team said Paula was recovering in Middlemore Hospital.
Fifita said Paula had an operation on his arm and was doing okay.
Fifita and his partner have thanked the airport, emergency services and hospital stuff for their support.
Auckland Airport is investigating the incident.
