The Air Force has helped rescue two men after their yacht capsized in stormy seas near Niue
An RNZAF Orion flew over the vessel at 11pm on Sunday and called in a cargo ship to pick up the American skipper and his New Zealand crewman.
One was found on the 17-metre catamaran, the other in an inflatable dinghy. Both are safe and well.
