RNZ has won five categories at the NZ Radio Awards, including best news journalist and best podcast at the 2018 NZ Radio Awards.
Recently retired radio legend Lloyd Scott was also acknowledged by the industry for his services to broadcasting over a career that spanned more than 50 years.
RNZ political reporter Benedict Collins was named Best News or Sports Journalist, while The 9th Floor - a series of interviews with NZ's former prime ministers - was named best podcast and best documentary.
This Way Up - RNZ's weekly weekly consumer/science technology programme - was named the Best Daily or Weekly Feature and Voice of the Iceberg - a feature about attempts to record the characters and sounds of icebergs in Antarctica - was named best Creative Feature.
The awards celebrate the very best of New Zealand radio, honouring personalities, programming, news and sports reporting, production and creativity within the industry. They are open to all commercial and non-commercial stations.
