A man has died in flames in a carpark in Dunedin.

Emergency services were called to King Edward Street just before 11am this morning.
A member of the public tried to extinguish the flames, but the man died at the scene.
Police said the man's death was not suspicious.
A formal identification process is under way and police are working to notify the man's next of kin.
