State Highway 8 was cut north and south of the town last Sunday when a flood caused slips.

It was reopened this weekend but will be closed from 6am tomorrow so damage at five creek sites can be fixed.

The sites are, from the south, Black Jacks Creek, Golf Course Creek, Reservoir Creek, Edinburgh Creek and Pump Station Creek.

All sites suffered significant damage to the road, some sites also include damage to footpaths, the water network and other services.

The repair work is expected to take until Thursday.
