A South Korean man who fled to this country after three of his family members were killed is a New Zealand resident, says Immigration NZ.

The 35-year-old man is accused of the deaths of his mother, step-father, and 14-year-old half brother.
South Korean police say the man left for New Zealand on Monday afternoon, two days after the killings.
Immigration NZ said he arrived in Auckland on Tuesday, and the man is a New Zealand resident.
The South Korean police said the suspect's mother and her son were found with stab wounds in an apartment, and the step-father was found in the boot of a rental car in a car park.
Interpol assistance has been requested - the two countries have an extradition treaty that was signed in 2001.
New Zealand police said they would determine what to do next once they had received more information.
