The police are seeking help from the public in their five-month investigation into a deadly house fire south of Taupō.
A woman, a man and a baby were killed in the blaze near the Rangitaiki Tavern on State Highway 5 in March.
The police now want help finding a man seen on the side of the highway that night.
They said his car had possibly broken down and they'd like to talk to anyone who saw him or offered him help.
