Police divers have discovered a body in their search for a missing swimmer in Lake Karapiro.

Police were told a man had gone missing in the area of Waipuke Reserve just after 3.30pm yesterday.
Searches by boat and helicopter failed to find him last night.
Members of the Police National Dive Squad discovered a body today.
Police said they were still formally identifying the man and notifying his next of kin so would not yet be releasing his name.
