The Chiefs are investigating after a player hired a stripper at a post-season get together.
A spokeswoman for the rugby team has confirmed a player hired a stripper on Monday, the same night player Michael Allardice made homophobic comments in public at Okoroire hot springs, in the Waikato.
She said she could not say who the player was and comment further until the matter had been investigated.
Mr Allardice has since apologised, and the Chief's head sponsor Gallagher Group said it was hugely disappointed by the comments.
