State Highway 35 remains closed intermittently north of Ruatoria following last week's storm.
Last Sunday, part of the highway gave way about 6km north of the township.
It was to open on Saturday from 7.30am - 9am for cars and light vehicles, then for an hour at midday and from 4pm - 5pm.
SH35 was opened during the day on Sunday, but motorists were warned to expect delays.
It closed again at 5pm on Sunday and is expected to reopen at 7am on Monday.
