A volcanic ash cloud from Indonesia's Mount Raung has prompted Jetstar to cancel all flights in and out of Bali's Denpasar Airport.

The airline has cancelled more than a dozen flights between Denpasar and several Australian destinations.

There are no direct flights between New Zealand and Denpasar, but some of the affected flights connect with New Zealand services.

Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia have also delayed several flights.

Air New Zealand said its scheduled 4.30pm flight to Bali this afternoon was postponed to 11am tomorrow, conditions permitting.
