Phil Rudd has been granted bail on a charge of possessing and consuming alcohol while on home detention.

The former AC/DC drummer was sentenced to eight months home detention after he admitted to threatening to kill a former staff member and possession of methamphetamine and cannabis.
At sentencing on 9 July, Judge Thomas Ingram said Rudd would be subject to GPS monitoring while on home detention and was ordered not consume any alcohol or drugs that were not prescribed.
The 61-year-old was arrested on Saturday night.
He appeared at Tauranga District Court this morning where he remanded on bail without plea until 3 August, with the condition that he undergo drug and alcohol testing when asked.
The Department of Corrections requested the bail condition.
In remanding Rudd, Judge Louis Bidois said: "The only warning I can give you is if there is another alleged breach the Department's position may well be different and they may well seek to cancel their sentence of home detention."
The former musician hugged a supporter on the roadside outside court but made no comment before driving away in a two-door Jaguar.
His lawyer Craig Tuck said he could not make any further comment.
