KiwiRail has been charged with failing to ensure safe working conditions for its staff and contractors.
Worksafe New Zealand has laid four charges under the Health and Safety Employment Act.
It said the charges related to three separate incidents during an eight-week period.
The case will come before the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
