The police have charged a man with the murder of a woman in her home in the Auckland suburb of Mount Wellington.
Officers called out to a domestic dispute found the body of 47-year-old Bimla Wati on Monday night.
A man who was also found at the property with injuries to his arms was taken to hospital for surgery.
Police said a 63-year-old man was due to appear in the Auckland District Court today charged with the woman's murder.
