A baby has died after its mother gave birth on a flight from Brisbane on Friday afternoon.
Air New Zealand says a passenger on the flight gave birth just before the plane landed at Auckland International Airport.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was transported to Middlemore Hospital, but the baby was stillborn.
A spokesperson for Air New Zealand says the airline's travel limit for pregnant women is 36 weeks.
