NZ now 10th in medals list

New Zealand now has 11 medals at the Paralympic Games in London, after capturing four more on Sunday.

Twimmer Cameron Leslie set a world record as he won the gold in the 150 metre individual medley.

Tandem cyclists Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson led the women's pursuit field to capture the gold medal in that event.

Swimmer Mary Fisher won her third medal and second silver as she finished second in the 100 metre backstroke.

Michael Johnson won a bronze medal in the 10 metre air rifle standing.

New Zealand is now 10th in the overall Paralympic medal list.

China leads with 72 medals, 29 of which are gold. Britain is next with 51 medals, 15 of which are gold and Australia is third with 36, 13 of which are gold.
