Seventeen new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in managed isolation since Sunday, with no new cases in the community.

The Ministry of Health gave the update on cases in a written statement. The ministry said 13 of the 17 new cases tested positive in the first day after arrival.
It said it was not uncommon for such cases to later be reclassified as historical cases.
"While the number of cases in managed isolation over the last 2 days is higher than in previous days, the average number of cases per day over the past week remains steady at four. Some of these cases are also contacts of known cases," the ministry said.
The new cases were largely arriving from India, with 12 of the cases from there on flights via UAE. Two cases were from England via UAE, one from Philippines via Singapore and one on a direct flight from USA.
Four recoveries brought active cases to 74, total confirmed cases were at 2168, and historical cases since 1 January were at 43.
Laboratories processed 4084 tests since Sunday, with a seven-day rolling average to yesterday of 3815.
In the ministry's previous update, on Sunday, six new cases of Covid-19 were reported in managed isolation, involving arrivals from India, the UK, the US and Egypt.
A start date for a travel bubble with Australia is due to be announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern at about 4pm. Travel and tourism companies anticipate a scramble to rehire staff, and a price rises in the industry including for motorhomes after the borders open for quarantine-free travel across the Tasman.
