A 21-year-old man charged over the hit-and-run death of a teenager in King Country in April has reappeared in court.
Te Kuiti man Broc Kawhena pleaded not guilty at his first court appearance in April to the manslaughter of Ocean Heke, who was 17.
His appearance this morning was for a trial review hearing.
Ms Heke was found dead on the State Highway 3 in Ōtorohanga after attending a party in the town.
The trial was set down for November.
