Wellington man Stephen Landrum is missing and police are appealing to the public for any information.
Police believe he intended to catch a bus to visit family in Levin on Friday.
There are serious concerns for Mr Landrum's wellbeing, as he has Parkinson's disease and is not carrying his cellphone.
He was last seen wearing a blue jersey and grey trousers and was believed to be in the Wellington suburb of Northland.
Meanwhile, 58-year-old Denise Lynch has been found safe and well in Feilding, Manawatu, overnight.
She had been reported missing from Ranfurly Manor rest home yesterday and police had been concerned as she also suffers from diabetes and needs regular medication.
