A 10-year-old boy has been flown to Starship Hospital with critical injuries after an accident in Northland.
St John Ambulance says they were called to the scene at Mangawhai Heads at 10.15am today.
Police said it appeared the boy hurt himself accidentally on a swing, and they were working with the family to identify what happened.
