The police are still looking for two men who robbed a Lower Hutt supermarket yesterday morning.
They have released CCTV footage showing one man acting as lookout outside the Stokes Valley New World, while the other went inside and brandished a shotgun.
A member of the public was hit over the head with the butt of the gun and another person was assaulted.
The police want to hear from anyone who saw the men, who are described as Maori or Polynesian wearing black beanies and white painters' overalls.
