Police are searching for the owners of a sizeable collection of Star Wars figurines and other collectables that were seized in a police operation in the Wellington region this month.
Operation Flyer involved searches of nine properties looking for evidence relating to the production and supply of methamphetamine, and money laundering involving the Head Hunters gang.
Officers found the figurines in Paraparaumu and Upper Hutt, but it is believed the property was stolen from the Porirua to Kapiti Coast area in February.
Detectives say no one has reported the figurines missing, and the owner may not yet know themselves.
