One person has been taken to hospital after being exposed to chemicals near Queenstown this morning.
The Fire Service was called to the Southern Lakes Laundry in Frankton just after 7.30am.
Fire Service shift manager Brent Dunn said a chemical reaction occurred after two chemicals were mixed together.
Fire crews from Queenstown and Frankton are at the scene and a Hazardous Substance Unit is on the way from Invercargill.
