The police say a baby who died in Waikato last night drowned in a bath tub.
They said they were called to a home in Putaruru about 8pm on Monday.
Ambulance staff were in attendance but were not able to revive the 10-month-old baby.
Senior Sergeant Mike Membery said a scene examination was being conducted.
