The body found on an Otago beach has been confirmed as that of Stephen Gourlay, who had been missing for three weeks.
The 52-year-old had last been seen in Kaikorai Valley Road, near Bowl Line, Dunedin, on 20 December.
His body was found by a member of the public on Boulder Beach on the Otago Peninsula on Monday.
A post mortem completed yesterday confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances to his death.
