Police are searching for a man who broke into a Christchurch bar and stole money this morning.
He broke into the back entrance of the Sideline Bar on Stanmore Road at about 8.30am, wearing a distinctive tartan bandanna.
Police said a staff member was there when it happened, but was able to leave the bar and was not injured.
