Name suppression has been lifted for the man accused of murdering Hawkes Bay Plunket nurse, Victoria Foster.

Chazz Hayden Hall, 28, appeared before the High Court today by an audio-visual link between the Napier and Wellington courts.

Ms Foster's body was found in her Napier home last month.

As well as the murder charge, Mr Hall is facing several other charges, including using a firearm against a police officer, dangerous driving and failing to stop.

He has been remanded in custody until February.
