Specialist police searchers and their dogs will be out again this morning in the hunt for an elderly Mid-Canterbury man who's been missing for more than a week.
74-year old Raymond Finnie's car was found stuck on a remote dirt road near Hororata on Wednesday.
He hasn't been heard from since the previous Friday.
Police said he had recently had a stroke and they have serious concerns for his wellbeing.
Police and search and rescue teams have been searching thick scrub and a pine plantation close to where his car was found.
